Say “Goodbye” to the Ear Infection – 3 Recipes from the Russian Folk Medicine

Do you have pain in your ears, do you hear some sounds less than normal, do you have diarrhea, headache, vomiting, trouble sleeping or fever? These are some of the common symptoms when suffering from an ear infection. This infection can be caused by either viruses or bacteria in the middle ear, it occurs more often in children, but many adults are not spared from the pain in the ear.

Say Goodbye to the Ear Infection


This is perhaps the most available treatment for an ear infection that you can apply.

Method of preparation:

Over low heat, heat one cup of sea salt in a pan for a few minutes. You can also warm it up in the microwave.
Put the warm salt on cloth and make a ball with the size of the earlobe.

While still warm, put the salt on the ear for 5-10 minutes.

You can do this as many times as needed throughout the day. This helps to pull the fluid from the ear and stops the swelling and pain.


This is the option when it comes to yeast infection.

Method of preparation:

Mix one part vinegar with an equal amount of water or alcohol. Dip a cotton swab in the solution.
Put the cotton swab in your ear and leave it for about five minutes.

Remove the cotton and lay down on the opposite side to drain the fluid from the ear.


Thanks to its antibacterial properties, tea tree oil can provide instant relief from the pain in the ears.

Method of preparation:

In a small bowl, put two tablespoons of olive oil; add a teaspoon of colloidal silver, a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and three drops of tea tree oil. Slightly heat the mixture.

Put a few / no more than 5-7 / drops of the mixture in the ear and leave it for 5 minutes. Then turn around and lay down on the other side so that the mixture is completely drained from the ear.

Repeat two to three times a day for two days.
