The acid-base balance (pH), which was mentioned in popular toothpaste advertising, applies not only to the oral cavity, but also for the whole body. Normal pH levels are 7.2-7.4.

It is known that all the food we eat, in the process of digestion and absorption is either acidic or alkaline. Cereals, fish, eggs, milk, meat, poultry, seafood, cheese, salt are oxidizing products (acidic), and fruits and vegetables are alkalizing.
