Here are three, easy to find, ingredients that you can use to help you get back your natural hair color:

Vinegar
Thanks to its high acid content, vinegar is effective for bleaching. It will help to remove the dye without irritating the scalp, but also to clean the hair and make it smoother and shinier.

Use
Mix equal amounts of vinegar (apple cider vinegar or white vinegar) and water. The amount used will depend essentially on the length of your hair.
Apply the mixture on your wet hair and wrap it in plastic wrap. Leave for 15-20 minutes.
Repeat this trick several times for best results.

Vitamin C
Vitamin C is ideal for bleaching dark hair.

Use
In a bowl or mortar, put 5-10 tablets of vitamin C and add a few drops of water. Finely crush the tablets into a powder.
Then apply it on your wet hair and wrap it in plastic wrap. Let it act for an hour, and then wash your hair with your usual shampoo.
In addition to using vitamin C as a “mask”, you can also mix it with your shampoo. Take the same amount of tablets, crush them and then mix the powder with your shampoo. Let the preparation stand for 30 or 60 minutes on your hair wrapped in a shower cap or a plastic film, then rinse.

Baking soda
Baking soda is used for hair care. It allows to clean the scalp and helps get rid of excess sebum in the scalp as well as the hair. Besides, this is the basis for many recipes of natural shampoos.
In addition, the cleaning properties of baking soda can help to remove the unwanted hair color.

Use
Mix a tablespoon of baking soda with one tablespoon of your natural shampoo and apply on the hair, then rinse.

Repeat this trick after two or three days.
