By discovering this trick, you will certainly ask yourself why you have never thought of it before. Indeed, you’ll never need an electric mixer or blender to prepare crepes and pancakes!

You can use this trick to make your pancakes with your usual ingredients or go for our recipe with buckwheat flour and prepare more healthy and nutritious pancakes.

Ingredients:

For crepes:

  • 1 cup buckwheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 cups of almond milk or coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt

For pancakes:

  • 1 cup buckwheat flour
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup of almond milk or coconut milk
  • 1 pinch of salt

 

Preparation

You will need:

  • 1 funnel
  • 1 large empty plastic bottle

Use the funnel to pour the flour, almond milk, oil, eggs and brown sugar in the bottle, and then add a pinch of salt. Close the bottle and shake firmly to mix the ingredients. Then pour the batter into the pan and cook your crepes or pancakes. You can keep the mixture in the fridge.

You can serve your crepes and pancakes with butter and honey, dried fruit or chocolate spread for breakfast or snack.
