Baking Soda and Water
You can mix with baking soda and water in order to get a paste which you can apply on your wet face with gentle circular movements. For oily and acne-prone skin types, baking soda can work as a great all-natural exfoliant. Just mix a bit with some water in your palm and gently scrub in circular motions to shed dead skin cells and reveal fresh, glowing skin underneath.
After using that, rinse your face with warm water.
Baking Soda and Lemon Scrub for Blackheads
This homemade scrub can penetrate deep into enlarged pores, clearing them of buildup that causes blackheads. Keeping pores clean and tight can prevent blackheads from forming. Mix 2 tbsp of baking soda, 1/4 cup of lemon juice and 2 tbsp of brown sugar in a bowl. Stir until the ingredients are evenly blended, and then apply the scrub to damp and cleaned skin. Massage the skin gently, concentrating on dry patches or problem areas. Let the mask soak in for 10 minutes, and then rinse with water.
