Headaches Reveal This About Your Health!

Headaches are not rare nowadays, people usually have complains about them, but before getting rid of them with drugs, keep in mind that there are other natural products that are healthier.

There are many products out there that says they give the wanted result but not all headaches are the same, there are different types and various treatments.

Often, your headaches may be a result of a simple cause, like fatigue or dehydration, but at times, they may indicate a serious health issue.

These are the 4 most common headache types:

  1. Tension Headache

Tension headaches are dull pain, tightness, or pressure around your forehead or the back of your head and neck. Some people say it feels like a clamp squeezing the skull. Often called stress headaches, they’re the most common type for adults.

This muscle tension can come from:

  • Not enough rest
  • Bad posture
  • Emotional or mental stress, including depression
  • Anxiety
  • Fatigue
  • Hunger
  • Low iron levels

Treatment: You can use a mix with ginger tea and adding peppermint oil to the hairline, which will cause a cooling sensation which will soothe the pain in the neck and head.

  1. Sinus Headache

This type of a headache occurs due to a sinus inflammation and causes great pain.

Symptoms with sinus inflammation

  • If there is sinus inflammation without infection, the drainage may be clear.
  • If the maxillary sinus is inflamed, pain may also be felt in the upper teeth since the sinus is located within the bone that holds those teeth.
  • Pain also may radiate to the temples, back of the neck, or top of the head.

Treatment: You should make sure your body is properly hydrated, so you should drink lots of fluids, especially fruits which are rich in vitamin C , warm soup, hot and cold compresses, or fresh ginger.

  1. Migraine

A migraine can cause severe throbbing pain or a pulsing sensation, usually on just one side of the head. It’s often accompanied by nausea, vomiting, and extreme sensitivity to light and sound.

Migraine attacks can cause significant pain for hours to days and can be so severe that the pain is disabling.

Warning symptoms known as aura may occur before or with the headache. These can include flashes of light, blind spots, or tingling on one side of the face or in your arm or leg.

Treatment: You will effectively treat the pain due to a migraine by using vitamin B12 (riboflavin), magnesium and omega-3 fatty acids.   Practice aerobic exercise to  prevent migraines in the future.

 

  1. Cluster Headache

Cluster Headache are a series of relatively short but extremely painful headaches every day for weeks or months at a time. You tend to get them at the same time each year, such as the spring or fall. Because of their seasonal nature, people often mistake cluster headaches for symptoms of allergies or business stress.

These headaches usually occur over one eye, and men are more susceptible to them than women. It is recurring, and can attack in a group or cycle.

Treatment: The main ingredient of capsaicin cream is cayenne pepper, so you should apply a bit to the nostril, in order to block the nerve pain signals and thus treat pain.
