15 minutes fair skin challenge

The skin is one of our body’s heaviest and largest organs. Depending on body size and mass, it weighs between 3.5 and 10 kilos. The skin protects the body from harmful environmental factors such as dampness, cold and sunlight, but also from germs and harmful substances. It plays an important role in regulating body temperature.

 Take 15 minutes for these two treatments for a beautiful skin:

  1. Skin whitening scrub

Ingredients:

  • Masoor dal powder – one and half tsp
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Mix all above ingredients well and your scrub is ready

Apply this scrub on your damp skin, buff it all over rubbing it gently for few minutes removing dead dull skin beneath and rinse with cold water.

  1. Skin whitening pack

The chief reason for dull, tired and darker looking skin is the lack of oxygen and blood in the skin that makes it appear weary and lifeless.

What better way of natural skin whitening than with the nourishing touch of milk and honey?

Ingredients:

  • Soak 6-7 tsp masoor dal for 3 hours and then grind it
  • Grind this dal with 3 tsp raw milk
  • Add 1 tsp honey and mix well

Mix the ingredients in a glass bowl and apply on clean face, massage for 2 minutes in soft, circular motion, leave on for 15 to 20 minutes and wash off thoroughly with water.
