Elimination of toxins and other chemicals that we consume regularly, or which we are exposed daily dirty the blood and our vital organs such as liver, kidneys and heart, not to mention all the stress that they cause. Thus, the same way we wash our clothes, it is essential that we periodically cleanse internal organs from the dirt.

The detoxifying diets also promote weight loss and help treat acne. This three-day detox treatment will help you cleanse your body completely.

Day 1

Start the day with a detox drink made from green tea, a slice of lemon and a teaspoon of stevia.

For breakfast, prepare a smoothie:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon of flaxseed
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1 banana
  • ¼ cup of spinach
  • 1 tablespoon of almond butter
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice

For lunch, take the same smoothie and take some omega-3 supplement.

For the afternoon snack, take various fruits.

For dinner, it is good to take cooked vegetables and grains.

Finish your day with a detox bath by adding 2 cups of Epsom salt and 10 drops of essential lavender oil to your bath.

Remember it is important to avoid all processed foods and to favor organic cereals, also to eliminate all fats and dairy products. Finally, be sure to eat the fruit only, not combine them with other food.

Warning: flax seeds are not recommended for people suffering from intestinal obstruction and narrowing of the esophagus. They are not recommended for people suffering from diseases related to the thyroid and in the cases of breast cancer or ovarian cancer.

Day 2

For breakfast, start the morning with your same tea that you had on the first day and the same smoothie.

For lunch, prepare a smoothie made from:

  • 4 stalks celery
  • 1 cucumber

1 cup cabbage leaves

  • ½ green apple
  • ½ lime
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
  • ½ cup almond milk
  • 1 cup pineapple

With this smoothie take a multivitamin and omega 3 supplements.

For snack, take herbal tea or fruit.

For dinner, it is good to eat cooked vegetables and cereal or a smoothie.

Finally, take an aromatic bath, just before going to bed. Add in your bathtub, 40 drops of turpentine essential oil. Stay for 10 to 20 minutes, then take a shower, put on your bathrobe and enjoy your night. The naturopath Sophie Schlogel claims that this aromatic bath has purifying and rejuvenating qualities.

Day 3

For breakfast, drink your detoxifying tea and drink the same smoothie as of first day.

For lunch, prepare the smoothie as of previous day you had for lunch.

For the afternoon snack, take fruit or vegetable.

For dinner, finish your day with this smoothie:

  • ½ mango
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup cabbage
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of flaxseed
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Coconut water (1 ½ walnuts)

Finally, relax with a detox bath with Himalayan salt.
