Important note: Two days before starting the detoxification, you have to suspend your consumption of any dairy product.

3 days detox

First, you must, as mentioned above, completely stop your consumption of all dairy products, two days before the start of the detox regime. This will allow your body to naturally start eliminate absorbed toxins. If you can do without dairy products, replace your usual milk with soy milk, almond or coconut milk.

You must also be careful not to over stimulate the lungs by heavy physical activity during this 3 day detox regime.

The day before the first day of the 3 day detox regime, take a cup of herbal tea (green tea, for example), before you go to bed. This will help your intestines to naturally get rid of some of accumulated toxins.

Before breakfast, drink 300ml of water mixed with fresh juice of 2 lemons. Then take 300ml of pineapple juice or grapefruit. This type of fruit juice contains a large amount of antioxidants, which help your body to improve the health of the respiratory system and burn stored fat.

Between breakfast and lunch, drink 300 ml of carrot juice, which will alkalize the blood.

Before lunch, take 400 ml pear, apricot or banana juice. These juices are an important source of potassium, a tonic that will activate the cleaning process.

Before bedtime, consume 400ml of cranberry juice, known for its ability to kill bacteria that cause lung infections.

Repeat the same procedure for the next two days.

During this 3 day detox regime, take a daily hot bath and relax for 20 minutes. This will contribute to the elimination of toxins through perspiration. It is ideally if you can add Epsom salt or Himalayan salt to your bath.

After the bath, add 5 to 10 drops of eucalyptus essential oil in a bowl of boiling water, then tilt your head over and cover up a large towel and inhale the steam till water cools.
